Muscatine Christian Academy is dedicated to developing students who
desire to love God and others, and are academically prepared for God’s unique
plan for their lives.
Our Core Values
Cultivating a love for God's Truth
MCA practices biblical integration in all areas studied as we learn to
love God’s truth. We instruct our students in how Scripture informs how we
think, communicate, make decisions, problem solve, and interpret other sources
of wisdom. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Delivering Engaging Academics
MCA seeks to facilitate a wonder for learning in our students.
Curriculum and instruction methods are chosen to inspire delight in the created
world, and a desire to explore and understand it. Our academic disciplines are
enhanced by putting into practice what is being taught, both inside and outside
of the classroom. (Proverbs 1:7, Matthew 5:16)
Practicing a Life of Worship
Learning about God and his world requires a response of worship from us.
MCA creates the time and space to respond to what is being learned by drawing
attention to God’s greatness, giving thanks, repenting of sin, reconciling
relationships, and finding our delight in His plan and purpose for us. (Romans
12:1-2)
Pursuing Excellence
MCA provides the highest standard of educational experiences. In
pursuing academic and personal excellence, we cultivate each student’s
individual potential, knowing that each one will have differing gifts and
learning abilities. We encourage our students and staff to pursue constant
improvement. (1 Corinthians 10:31, Colossians 3:23)
Fostering Wholeness in Relationships
Knowing that we are created to live in community, MCA fosters an
environment in which we grow in our love for God and others. Our faculty,
staff, and students strive to model servant leadership, humility, forgiveness,
and patience with others. (Romans 12:18)
